This is a rough entry, but
I'm sick and tired of this situation: I want my arts to be
HERE and anywhere else. If someone wants my fanarts has to ask me first!
Maybe this concept is beyond someone comprehension, but I would reaffirm this simple fact:
DeviantArt is not a tank of cuteness and little drawings there for everyone’s please, there for everyone’s hands.
The authors post their works on DA to share, of course, but they especially do it to reach other authors and confront each other, to reach other art lovers like themselves, it’s not important if their media is a simple crayon or the last fabulous Wacoom tablet.
It’s a fact, the passionate artists are cocky and blah blah, but above all they’re fond of their works: anyone would his art spread everywhere without his permission, without him even know where and why. Everyone who works hard on a piece of art would like to know where their art would be posted and by who their art are taken. Above all, every artist want to be respected as author and want his art safe and untouched.
I want to be respected and I want my art safe and untouched: so I complained with an user on
tokiohotel.forumfree.net/ because she posted one of my photomanipulations on the board without any credit and without ask me permission to do that. Unfortunately this kind of things seem to be ‘normal’ on that forum, in fact there’s a lot of fanarts and works stealing from various DeviantArt accounts and without credit, posted in it.
I only asked to give respect to my and others works, but as only consequence I received a ban from the board.
